John F. Kennedy Presidential Library- November 30th

We have jumped ahead almost two hundred years to a street in middle America just in time for the 1960s

 presidential election
At the museum you have front row seats to campaign speeches,  conventions, debates and finally JFK's inauguration as president.

The I.M. Pei designed building is breathtaking with commanding views of Boston across the water.

Our travels have finally returned to the 20th century but the Cold War, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Berlin Wall are still ancient history to the kids.  An afternoon of endless questions and they managed to drain us enough to make us feel ancient as well.  Especially when they were so shocked we weren't alive when Kennedy was assassinated.
